Future Perfect

The theatre play „Future Perfect“ is about Jimmy Doramus and how to get successful.

The main character in the theatre play is Jimmy Doramus. Jimmy wants to be famous but he is very lazy and late for school every day but with another excuse every day. After the school and after about 1,000 excuses, a TV producer saw him and his got famous and his success started. The theatre play wasn’t difficult to understand because the actors spoke very slowly and they spoke in clear, simple English. I think the play was interesting and a little bit funny. I hope the school will have another performance, because it was good to learn some English this way.

Jimmy’s Future

It’s about a boy who his named Jimmy. He is a difficult pupil. He is bad at school and leaving it with no qualification. Yet he has an interview at a job centre, where he gets a job in the packing department of a toy factory. After few days he gives up. He sees himself as a hero in movies and thinks about his future. Some time later he is discovered by a Hollywood film producer, he decides that Jimmy would be perfect in the role and flies him to Hollywood. He is a star, but a time later nobody knows him and he is back where he started.

It was a very good theatre play with the four actors. I really liked it and it was funny and I could understand the actors well. I hope there will be more theatre plays some time.

The theatre group White Horse was very good because the actors did their jobs well and you could understand them very well. The actor who played Jimmy was the funniest person. The theatre play was good and I liked it.

I think it was easy to understand the play because they spoke clearly. It was funny but sometimes boring. So it was a very good topic because you can see that it’s really hard to be famous. I think we should have a play again at our school.

I found the play boring because they didn’t have funny scenes and because we had read the scenes before watching the play. But the play was good because we heard the English from native speakers. I think we should have a play again when they have new topics.
